Afghan vice president Amrullah Saleh survived an attack on his car convoy with a roadside bomb on Wednesday.
According to his spokesman, Saleh has come off unharmed.
“Today Afghanistan’s enemies have tried again to target Saleh, but they failed in their malicious intent, and Saleh got away unharmed,” the vice president’s spokesman said on Facebook.
The attack in the Afghan capital Kabul has killed two people, according to the Ministry of Health. In addition, seven injured people were taken to a hospital.
