Word and PowerPoint for iPad Now Offer Split View. Microsoft has released an update for its iPad version of Office.
The main novelty is the Split View functionality for Word and PowerPoint, which allows users to open two documents side by side.
To activate the new feature, simply drag a document to the left or right side of the screen, MacRumors reports.
To end the Split View, grab the slider in the centre of the screen and drag it to the edge. The other document then reappears full-screen.
Microsoft would also work to support the new trackpad functionality that Apple introduced in iPadOS 13.4.
However, it is not yet available in the most recent update of the Office apps.
