North Korea Resumes Abuse of US President Trump: "Old Man without Patience"

North Korea Resumes Abuse of US President Trump: “Old Man without Patience”. For the first time in a long time, the news agency of Stalinist North Korea fell out personally to US President Donald Trump.

Since the recent rapprochement between the US and North Korea, those mutual abuses had stopped, but that “thaw” now seems to be overdue to a lack of concrete results.

The souring of the relationships had been going on for a while and started after the failed summit between Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi early this year.

Pyongyang suddenly criticised the US and foreign minister Mike Pompeo, but President Trump himself was spared in propaganda.

That no longer seems to be the case. The KCNA news agency – the mouthpiece of the regime – cites a Kim Yong-chol, a leader of the Communist Party in North Korea, who describes Trump as “impatient” and “careless and capricious old man”.

That’s not as bad as the mutual insults between Trump and Kim for the rapprochement when terms like “senile fool” and “rocket man” flew around.

Yesterday, President Trump had warned on Twitter that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un “had much, if not everything, to lose” if he did not disarm nuclear.

North Korea had announced last week that there could no longer be talk of nuclear disarmament. The end of the North Korean nuclear arsenal is crucial for the United States and its allies Japan and South Korea. If that is not negotiable, the question is what can be talked about.
