Olivia Newton-John doesn’t want to Discern how long she Still Has. Olivia Newton-John was diagnosed with cancer for the third time earlier this year.
However, she does not know how bad the 70-year-old Grease actress is, nor does she want to know.
That’s what Olivia says in an interview with 60 Minutes Australia.
“If you are diagnosed with cancer or another scary disease,
you suddenly get a time limit,” the actress explains.
“If you believe in the statistics, you make sure that they become the truth.
If someone tells you that you still have six months to live,
the chances are that you will because you believe in it.”
Although Olivia does not know whether she is dealing with weeks, months or years, she remains optimistic.
“I am so lucky that I have experienced this three times and am still there.
I live by the day. Every day is a gift, mainly now.”
The actress faced breast cancer in 1992.
In 2013 she was treated for a tumour in her shoulder.
This time a tumour was found in her backbone.
