Highland Park was Already 309th Mass Shooting in the United States This Year

Los Angeles Police Department had released CCTV footage showing what happened before and during the shooting incident at a Los Angeles clothing store that killed a 14-year-old girl last week.

Critics accuse the police force of opening fire too easily.

Camera images from the store show a man walking through the store with a heavy chain lock, threatening several people. He then hits a woman on the head and body with the chain lock.

Police bodycam footage shows officers arriving at the scene with guns drawn. A few seconds later, one of the officers opens fire. The man with the chain lock was hit and then handcuffed. The images also show that one of the bullets bounced off the ground towards the dressing room where the 14-year-old girl was hiding.

“I am deeply sorry for the loss of this young girl’s life, and I know there are no words that can ease the unimaginable pain for the family,” said Chief Constable Michel Moore.
