Those who want to travel to Australia must still take into account the ongoing forest fires. But the advice to undertake only necessary journeys to Sydney was withdrawn by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague today.
“For the states of New South Wales, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory (Canberra) the state of emergency and evacuation orders have been completely or largely cancelled”, the ministry writes.
The warning code has therefore changed from orange to yellow. This means that there are still safety risks that the traveller should be extra alert to.
Foreign Affairs warns that air quality can be inferior in some parts of the country. People travelling through China also have to take medical checks into the airports because of the new coronavirus.
