Violence in Gaza Continues: Night Shelling Continues

UN Commissioner: Violence Israel at Border Gaza Out of all Proportion. The violence that the Israeli army has used against protesting Palestinians on the border of Gaza is ‘out of all proportion’, judges High Commissioner for Human Rights of the UN Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein.

Al-Hussein stated at a UN meeting in Geneva, Switzerland that residents of the Gaza Strip were “trapped in a poisonous slum” from birth until death.

The Jordanian prince pleaded for an end to the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territory. Protests were entirely out of hand last Monday. The army shot about sixty Palestinian demonstrators, says eBuzzFeed.

According to the Israeli UN Ambassador Aviva Raz Shechter, Israel has done everything to keep the number of victims as low as possible. She outlined that Israel had to defend its borders against ‘terrorists from Gaza’.

Shechter blamed the Islamists of Hamas who are in charge of the massacre. They would have misused citizens as a ‘human shield’. The meeting will discuss, among other things, whether an investigation must be conducted into the violence.
